Leak Tester Equipment is designed for testing for the
leakage of Spin-on filter from the seaming of housing.
Also can be checked the end cap for inserts and the
over all length of the filter can be accommodated upto
300 mm.
The principal of the equipment is when compressed air
is passed through filter cartridges it would take the
path of least resistance and if there is any leakage
in seaming of Spin-on joint, the compressed air will
try to get out of such leakage portion and you will
witness water bubble on the tank. |
The liquid for observing leakage should be chosen
according to the quality and need of customer and
also depending on the filtration media. Normally for
Spin-on seaming leakage it is recommended dip into
plain water whereas for end cap testing as well as
bonding testing should be recommended for kerosene
oil, diesel oil or alcohol.
